Background:
Adam Kulpa grew up playing sports in the Southwest. In college, he captained the Yavapai College soccer team and later transferred to finish his eligibility at San Diego State University. After college, Kulpa played professionally in the region until he began coaching in 2007. Kulpa spent 10 years coaching collegiate club soccer at SDSU helping to develop players mentally and physically for the next level. Coaching at SDSU gave him the environment and experience to mentor young men into better players athletically and personally.

- 2016: Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology (CAPP) from the Flourishing Center in Oakland, CA.
- A 240-hour, nine-month study program focused on the scientific study of human flourishing.
- 2017: Coaching Skills Training certificate (CST) from the Flourishing Center.
- The CST program is a 64-hour, six-month program that is ACSTH approved through the International Coaching Federation.
